Galang AI Joins MOVE Chamber, Virginia's Premier Minority Business Chamber
Galang AI has joined MOVE Chamber, Virginia's premier minority business chamber, expanding its connection to Northern Virginia's minority-owned business community and its work helping operators adopt practical, responsible AI.
Galang AI announced today that it has joined MOVE Chamber, strengthening the company's connection to Virginia's minority business community and expanding its participation in Northern Virginia's network of founders, operators, suppliers, civic leaders, and growth-minded organizations.
MOVE Chamber describes itself as Virginia's premier minority business chamber and focuses on helping minority businesses connect, grow, and influence across Northern Virginia. The chamber's public materials emphasize advocacy, education, strategic connections, access to resources, access to capital, and the networks entrepreneurs need to build durable businesses.
For Galang AI, membership is both a community commitment and a practical extension of the company’s work as a Virginia SWaM-certified, woman-owned, minority-owned AI consultancy. The company helps organizations understand where AI belongs in their operations, what should remain human-led, and how to adopt automation, agents, and knowledge systems without losing trust, quality, or control.
“MOVE Chamber is focused on the exact kind of business community we want to serve: ambitious operators building real companies, creating jobs, and opening doors for the next wave of minority-owned businesses. Our role is to help those businesses make AI practical, responsible, and useful in the work they already do.”
James Galang, co-founder of Galang AI
The membership gives Galang AI another way to stay close to the operators who are carrying real business constraints every day: limited time, lean teams, scattered systems, customer follow-up pressure, marketing demands, hiring friction, compliance questions, and the constant need to make better decisions with imperfect information.
Galang AI’s focus inside that ecosystem is practical AI enablement. That can include AI readiness assessments, workflow mapping, marketing and sales automation, internal knowledge organization, responsible AI guidance, lightweight implementation planning, and executive education for teams that need clarity before they invest in tools.
MOVE Chamber's public programs point to a broader business-development agenda that includes operator acceleration, capital connections, policy roundtables, and sector convenings across industries such as construction, healthcare, technology, and real estate. Its member directory highlights a diverse network of minority-owned businesses, suppliers, and institutions shaping commerce across Northern Virginia.
Galang AI sees that environment as a strong fit for its operating philosophy: start with the business problem, map the friction, protect the human relationship, and use AI only where it creates measurable leverage. For many small and mid-sized businesses, AI adoption should not begin with a platform purchase. It should begin with a clear view of the work.
The announcement also builds on Galang AI’s recent regional milestones, including Virginia SWaM certification, CMMC Level 1 assessment completion, 2026 SWaMmy Honors recognition, Northern Virginia Technology Council membership, and approval as an AI services provider partner for Loudoun Economic Development’s Launch Loudoun program.
As Galang AI grows, the company will use memberships like MOVE Chamber to deepen local relationships, support business education, and help more underrepresented operators turn AI from a source of noise into a practical operating advantage.
