7. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

Galang AI uses cookies, pixels, and similar tracking technologies to improve user experience, analyze traffic, and understand engagement. These tools help us understand which pages, service areas, and calls-to-action are useful so we can improve the website and our services.

With your analytics consent, we use PostHog and Google Analytics to measure website behavior such as page views, navigation clicks, booking intent, and general device/browser information. We configure analytics to avoid intentionally collecting sensitive form content, messages, passwords, tokens, or other confidential information through website event tracking.

If you have not accepted analytics cookies, because you chose Essential only or have not made a choice yet, PostHog still counts your visit in its cookieless mode. Nothing is stored in your browser in this mode. PostHog's servers combine your IP address and browser user agent with a random value that changes every day to compute a one-way hash, and do not keep the IP address with these events. That lets us count unique daily visitors without identifying you or linking your visits across days. In this mode we record page views, time on page, and our own site events, such as clicks on Book a call and completed bookings, along with the campaign labels of the link that brought you. Session replay, heatmaps, and automatic click tracking stay off. If your browser sends a Do Not Track signal, we skip this counting unless you accept analytics cookies.

With your marketing consent, we also use Google Ads measurement, Microsoft Advertising (its Universal Event Tracking tag), Meta Pixel, and the LinkedIn Insight Tag to understand whether advertising leads to visits and booked consultations, measure campaign performance, and support advertising audiences. Microsoft, Meta, and LinkedIn may receive information such as the page visited, browser or device details, IP address, and identifiers set by their services. We do not enable automatic advanced matching or intentionally send form fields, contact details, or sensitive information to these advertising platforms.

Our scheduling pages use TidyCal to display appointment availability and process bookings. Information you submit within the scheduler is handled by TidyCal under its own privacy terms. When a booking is completed in the scheduler embedded on our website, TidyCal tells our page that a booking was made and passes its booking reference, not your details. We record that confirmation and the campaign labels of the link that brought you (such as utm_source or utm_campaign) in PostHog, with cookies if you accepted analytics and in cookieless mode if you did not. With your consent, we also record it in Google Analytics and report the booking as a conversion to Google Ads and Microsoft Advertising. Galang AI records only non-identifying booking status and attribution data in website analytics; we do not intentionally send attendee names, email addresses, phone numbers, or booking notes to PostHog or to advertising platforms.

You can use the Cookie Preferences control in the site footer to accept, reject, or change optional analytics and marketing consent. You can also adjust your browser settings to refuse cookies or notify you when cookies are being sent. Essential website and scheduling functions may still use storage or requests needed to provide the feature you requested.
